Flanged Premium 100 gate valve EN 558-2 S.15/DIN F5. For water and neutral liquids to max. 70° C

AVK Premium 100 gate valves are built to last a century. They feature the renowned AVK gate valve design and offer full traceability of materials and test records. The stem of duplex stainless steel and thrust collar and wedge nut of Silicon-brass ensure exceptional wear protection, and the external PUR coating provides ultimate corrosion protection. As for all AVK gate valves for water, the wedge is fully vulcanised with AVK’s own drinking water approved EPDM rubber compound, and features an outstanding durability due to the ability of the rubber to regain its original shape, the double vulcanization process and the sturdy wedge design.

Features

  • Fixed, integral wedge nut prevents vibration and ensures durability. It is made of high strength Silicon-brass DZR CW724R for extra wear resistance
  • Wedge fully vulcanized with drinking water approved EPDM rubber and equipped with wedge shoes to provide smooth operation
  • Large conical stem hole in the wedge prevents stagnant water
  • Wedge and body guide rails ensure stable operation
  • Stem of duplex w. 1.4362 stainless steel for extra wear resistance, with rolled threads for high strength
  • Triple safety stem sealing with an NBR wiper ring, a polyamide bearing with four NBR O-rings, and an EPDM rubber manchette
  • Round EPDM bonnet gasket fixed in a recess
  • Full circle thrust collar of Silicon-brass provides fixation of the stem and low free running torques
  • Countersunk and sealed stainless steel A4 bonnet bolts encircled by the bonnet gasket
  • Full bore
  • Flange protection caps for DN40-300, sticker dust caps for DN350-600
  • Fusion bonded 300 µm epoxy coating in compliance with DIN 3476 part 1, EN 14901 and GSK, and external PUR according to EN 10290 type 2 class B for extra cathodic protection.
