The Dutch water company Evides has tested VIDI Positioners for digital monitoring of their water supply network. VIDI Positioner is a battery-operated IoT sensor providing real-time data on valve open/close position to enhance efficiency and reliability in the supply network.

At Aabo waterworks, Denmark, water is taken down from a higher zone and distributed further to another supply zone. The inlet pressure is just over 10 bar, and through a pressure reducing valve this is reduced to an outlet pressure of approximately 6.8 bar.
